ARGENTINE, se plaît dans les lieux frais, gras & aquatiques, comme le long des rivieres, des ruisseaux d’eau vive & des mares. Elle se multiplie de plant enraciné en Mars.

L’eau distillée de cette plante s’est acquis une grand réputation chez les Dames qui s’en servent pour se nettoyer & s’embellir la peau. Cette eau est excellente pour la chassie & pour les ulcers des yeux. On se sert ordinairement de cette plante en décoction & dans les bouillons contre la fiévre, le flux-de-sang, les hémorragies, les inflammatioins des reins & de la vessie, & par conséquent on l’ordonne dans les difficultés d’urine.

The distilled water from this plant has gained a great reputation among Ladies who use it to cleanse and beautify their skin. This water is excellent for body & for eye ulcers. This plant is usually used as a decoction & in broths against fever, blood flow, hemorrhages, kidney & bladder inflammation, & therefore it is prescribed in urine difficulties.
