Calament - Wood or Mountain Calamint
- Clinopodium menthifolium

WOOD CALAMINT wants a dry terroir with good exposure. It is multiplied from seeds in March, and better from plants rooted in the same time. This plant is used like tea. It is stomachale, diuretic, aperitif, & suitable to induce ordinary & urine; it is also used as a decoction in vapors & in diseases of the womb. Distilled water & syrup from this plant have the same virtues.
