CALAMENT, veut un terroir sec & en belle exposition. On le multiplie de semences en Mars, & mieux de plant enraciné dans le même tems.

On se sert de cette plante à la maniere du thé. Elle est stomachale, diurétique, apéritive, & propre pour provoquer les ordinaires & les urines; on s’en sert aussi en décoction dans les vapeurs & dans les maladies de la matrice. L’eau distillée & le sirop de cette plante ont les mêmes vertus.

WOOD CALAMINT wants a dry terroir with good exposure. It is multiplied from seeds in March, and better from plants rooted in the same time. This plant is used like tea. It is stomachale, diuretic, aperitif, & suitable to induce ordinary & urine; it is also used as a decoction in vapors & in diseases of the womb. Distilled water & syrup from this plant have the same virtues.
