FENOUIL. La semence de fenouil infusée dans le vin blanc au poids d’une demi-once dans chaque verre, est bonne contre les morsures des bêtes venimeuses, & pour pousser les urines. Les racines de la plante en décoction provoque les ordinaires. L’huile essentielle s;ordonne dans la colique venteuse jusqu’à cinq ou six gouttes. Les feuilles amorties & mises en forme de cataplasme, excitent le lait des nourrices.


FENNEL. The fennel seed infused in white wine, weighing half an ounce in each glass, is good against the bites of poisonous animals, and for pushing urine. The roots of the plant in decoction stimulates menses. The essential oil is ordered in windy colic up to five or six drops. The leaves, damped and shaped into a poultice [and applied to the breasts], stimulate the milk of nurses.
